Car Scratch....

Just two days before Internal Test of 3rd semester, after a day long touch with the book, I decided to accompany my parents to Mapusa. We visited the temple first. It was a great atmosphere there, with many people around. I realised some sort of relaxation for myself. We later moved onto the market. On the way we halted on a shop. It was totally crowded with traffic jam. My father managed to get a parking place our car. I was advised to sit in the car as incase any problem occurs then I can adjust the car there. As my parents walked towards the shop, I felt like our car was acquiring almost some part of the busy road. So I decided to move the car ahead a little bit. And in doing this my car touched the bumper of a Maruti Omni. I was shocked because it was my first mistake in my one year driving carrier. More scary was the situation due to the driver of the vehicle was there around and he witnessed the incident. I parked my car properly, but the immediate task was to face the driver of the Omni vehicle. I took a dep breathe didnt move out of the vehicle for almost 30 seconds until he himself opened my car door. This time around I put forth myself as if I was not aware of the incident. That person almost 25 years of age well behaved with me although I was frightened a bit. He cautioned me for the scratch was not much as in case there was damage caused to the car then he would have quarreled with me and might have demanded me to do the repairs else pay for the repairs. I remained calm since I was the main culprit behind this incident. In a moment he asked me if I had license. I felt myself very much depressed as my driving maturity was totally wipped off by that question. I replied positively then in a moment he gave me a soft smile and started moving away. I later questioned him, "Now if I had caused damage to your vehicle then you might have fought with me, alongside I gave him realisation of if I was in his place what efforts I would have taken." The driver was eager to know my answer. I replied saying, "if any such incident happens I would have instead assumed the mistake of no worth as it must not be purposely committed. Mistakes do happen, sometimes knowingly or unknowingly. After all we are human beings, there is no need to hamper alot until there is actual loss that can possibly be solved with understanding between the two parties. He found me as of having very childlike attitude.
This incident definitely brought about nerves in myself towards driving. I am quite satisfied at the end of the and in composing this blog I feel "I have experienced and learnt alot".
